Each set of suspenders is hand cut, dyed, assembled, and tested in our shop to ensure they perform where it matters most — on the fireground.

Our suspenders are built using premium saddle grade American leather, well above typical industry standards.
Each product is:
• Hand cut in our shop
• Individually dyed by hand
• Sealed to prevent bleeding onto uniforms
• Built to withstand years of fireground use
Unlike many competitors, we do not paint our products. Painted text and logos eventually crack, peel, and fade. Instead, our designs are hand stamped into the leather for a permanent and durable finish.

Sizing
⚠️ Please measure yourself before ordering. Our sizing differs from other companies. Repairs cannot be made for incorrect sizing.
Available sizes:
X-Small: 36–42 inches
Small: 42–48 inches
(Most commonly issued by turnout gear manufacturers)
Medium: 48–54 inches
Large: 54–60 inches
Measurements are taken from rear attachment point to front attachment point across the body.
How to Measure

Take a piece of rope or webbing.

Place it across your shoulders in an X-back configuration, just like suspenders.

Run the rope from the rear attachment point to the opposite front attachment point.

Measure the total length in inches.

Choose the suspender size that best matches your measurement.
For best results, stand straight while measuring.
You may also measure an existing set of suspenders by measuring from rear attachment point to opposite front attachment point.
Lead Time
This is a custom-built product.
Average production time is 3–4 weeks.
Because each item is custom made, we do not forecast exact ship dates.
You will receive:
• An email notification when your product enters production
• Tracking information once your order ships
While we do our best to meet estimated lead times, delays may occur due to material availability.
Lead times are only guaranteed for orders placed before the published Christmas deadline during the holiday season.
Post-Fire Decontamination
All Fully Involved Leatherworks products are sealed to help prevent the absorption of contaminants and particulates.
If your equipment enters the IDLH, we recommend the following cleaning procedure:

Rinse with copious amounts of water to remove large particulates

Use a soft bristle brush if needed

For deeper cleaning use a mild detergent such as:
• Dawn
• Joy
• Car wash soap

Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry out of direct sunlight
Do not place leather equipment in an extractor or dryer.
These recommendations are based on UL research regarding firefighter PPE contamination and decontamination procedures.
