Fully Involved Leatherworks Handmade Leather Firefighting Radio Strap are made with strong and durable leather that still has a supple feel. Our products are made to last, and will ride with you through many years; if not your entire firefighter career. All of our products are handmade 9+ oz. saddle grade American leather, well above industry standard. Our heavy duty hardware will stand the test of time. All of our products are made from American Zebu hides. These hides are brought to our shop and then hand cut. Each piece of leather for our straps, suspenders, and radio cases are hand dyed using Oil Dye.This Oil dye not only will not come off, but helps ensure that your product will not crack, fades, or loose color over time. While many other competitors continue to hand paint their text and logos, we no longer paint any products (except shields), since paint will wear off, scratch off, and fade. Each text / logo impression is also dyed a different color, which means it will not ever leave the strap (outlines of text may be painted since they will be protected by being inside a deep impression groove).
Universal Radio Case-
Our universal radio case can be purchased in addition to the Radio Strap.
Our universal radio case fits MOST radios.
These handmade cases are constructed of one single piece of leather. No stitching or rivets to come apart.
Our case is much tougher than other cases on the market and that's why we back it for life! If your case breaks, comes apart, or has any other problem, we will fix it free of charge.
Our case measures 2 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" thick by 6" tall.
NEVER DO WE RECOMEND WEARING YOUR RADIO STRAP OVER YOUR TURNOUT COAT. THIS CREATES AN ENTANGLEMENT HAZARD AND IS HARSH ON YOUR RADIO AND STRAP.
For proper use with turnout gear place your coat over the strap with your radio hanging over bunker pants. Your strap should be placed where your coat will shed water off of your radio, but yet you can still use knob functions. Pull the collar mic out of your coat through the neck. By doing this you will protect your strap and most importantly your communication device.
AVERAGE LEAD TIME ON ALL CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS IS 4-7 WEEKS.WE DO NOT FORECAST SHIP DATES SINCE EACH PRODUCT IS CUSTOM.ONCE YOUR PRODUCT HAS SHIPPED, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE TRACKING INFORMATION.
If you have not received your product after 6 weeks feel free to contact us regarding the status. While we try our best to fulfill each order within the 4-7 week window sometimes back ordered materials can hold us up.

Great product, I was very impressed with the way the radio holder looks and feels. My radio fits in there very tight and snug. The craftsmanship is outstanding and I will be ordering from fully involved again.
Great quality but very narrow.

Very high quality leather and craftsmanship but very narrow. My deployment keeps the clip on the radios. There is no way to fit a radio with a clip in this case.
Moto APX6000XE requires slight Mod

The material quality and appearance are second to none! Although, our department radios are just a little too big to fit the pocket. Removing the back, bottom two rivets make it fit like a glove, while still providing the security needed.
Even with the mod, this product is 50 times better than the straps and pouches provided!
Strong and sturdy

Nice case, fits my XTS6000 like a glove even with the extended 16 hour battery. Color matches well with the strap.

Ordered this for my new strap. Using this for the Motorola XTS2500. I soaked the leather in water then slid the radio into it for the day. Now it is a perfect fit for it. I would order again no questioning.
